AEB: Russia’s new car, LCV sales fall 62.8% to 45,228 in Oct

MOSCOW, Nov 7 (PRIME) -- Russia’s sales of new cars and light commercial vehicles (LCVs) plummeted by 52.8% on the year to 45,228 in October, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said in a statement on Monday.

In January–October, sales of new cars and LCVs in Russia dropped by 60.8% to 502,500 vehicles, the association said.

The sales of Lada cars by car producer AvtoVAZ fall by 25% on the year to 19,100 units in October and dropped by 51% to almost 143,000 cars in January–October, the AEB also said.
